Volunteer Social Crime Prevention Project.
The Department of Community Safety and Liaison in conjunction with the Manchester Police Department, UK, contracted African Access Events as their Project Management Company for the Volunteer Crime Prevention Project which took place from February – May 2008 in the 6 district regions of KwaZulu Natal. The project entailed a series of workshops and community launches all over the province for volunteers to combat crime in their communities. At one of the VSCPP Launches where African Access Events managed a crowd of almost 8000 pax.
