Sebenzile has passion for the empowerment of marginalised sectors of the community. She Has previous work experience in the Presidency as Director in the Office on the Status of Disabled People.

Sebenzile Currently serves on the boards of Action on Disability and Development, the African Decade of Disabled Persons, the Centre for Alternative and Augmentative Communication, Disability Empowerment Concerns, plus numerous NGOs.
